Insight through experience
"I worked as a chief engineer before I started in sales and service of vacuum toilets for ships. This gave me insight into sanitary systems from different perspectives - which inspired me with ideas for radical new solutions."
Challenging a monopoly
"The principal of the company I at the time worked for was not interested in any technical improvements. They had a monopoly. In 1986 I came across the Helivac™ principle invented by the Dane Willy Johst. I founded Jets™ the same year and incorporated the Helivac™ principle in the first vacuum generating units that I designed. Since then we have continuously kept on developing new vacuum generators based on this principle."
More than 20,000 Vacuumarator™ pumps in operation
"The success of the compact new system that we launched in 2000 enabled us to keep making further improvements. Now the patented Jets™ solution has an international reputation for quality, performance and value - and more than 20,000 Vacuumarator™ pumps are in operation on the seven seas."
